can anyone tell me whats going on? I haven't noticed any agressive behavior from his mate. Thanks for your help.

You may not have noticed the behavior, but it is common for a mate to pick all the feathers out of their significant other's head, and it can be either sex that gets the baldy-sour!

He's going bald just like happened to me when my wife said she was pregnant. Soon as the first came out.. all my hair fell out. I think it's due to stress.
