High School wasn't fast for me.

I think it all depends on the individual's point of view. For me, middle school went fast, because I understood the classes, got along with students, and had a general good time (as good as you can have at school at least). High School was slow because I strugled with the workload, didn't get to know many other students, and generally had a bad time. Then I got into a college where, fortunately, the professors and staff actually give a crap about the students, and the time went by a little smoother and faster.

Time is relative. My case may not necessarily be your case. For me bad times seem to drag on and good times go by too fast, but that's not necessarily so for everybody.

I don't know if I answered your question, but hopefully I gave you some perspective.

No, I don't think it is slow. There is way too much to do and take in. As I have gotten older I have noticed that time tends to slide by more quickly as you settle into a routine. When you have had the same job, the same friends, the same home, and the same car for the better part of a decade you tend to stop noticing the passage of time because every year looks the same as the last.

When you are in highschool you have all these new things to mark the passage of time like getting your license, turning 18, proms, homecomings, sports seasons, and none of them ever come fast enough so it feels like it takes forever.

I will say there is one point at which it feels like it all went to fast and that is graduation. You get a chance to stop and look back at all the years you spent in school and suddenly go "Whoah, how'd I get here?" Its a really funny feeling. The important thing is to not sweat how fast or slow it goes by, but make sure you fill that time with worthwhile things that make you happy, because you won't ever get those years back.

I suppose you have to finish it before you realize how fast it went, but there is also the point that you will have allot of growth mentally and physically to go through that opens the door to adulthood and that makes it also seem somewhat hurried!

Senior year goes by really, really fast. Other than that, I didn't really notice.

"Fasterer??" Wow.....

Yes, in retrospect (which means looking back on things) it goes by quickly. However, when you haven't done your math homework, an 80 minute class can seem to last forever.

let's hope it doesn't go by so fast that you don't learn proper spelling and grammar (which, by the way, your elementary and middle schools should have taught you).
