i need 150g of butter i have 8 tbsp or 1/2 a cup how do i get 150g?

4 OZ = 113.4 g, if you are trying to 150 g of butter I suggest to use 2 butter bars, 1 for the 4 Oz, split the other butter bar in 5, take one of those split sections to your cooking recipe and you will be fine.
