I had a frozen mango margarita @ a Ground Patti, and I saw in the booklet the ingrediants were Sauza conmemorative tequila, gran gala, roses lime, sweet n sour, mango rum, and a splash of cranberry.

I got all the stuff.. but.. i dont' know how much of each ingrediant.
(i'm usually a beer drinker.. but this drink was AWESOME!)

AND... if you all have other variations I'd love to hear...

can I substitute the gran gala for triple sec instead?

1/2 cup peeled sliced mango
1 1/4 oz tequila Casa Noble Crystal (Silver)
1/2 oz cointreau
1/4 lime
splash chambord

In blender, squeeze juice of lime. Add mango and blend. Add other ingredients except chambord and blend. Combine with ice then serve topped with a splash of chambord and garnished with a lime wedge or wheel.

Sounds like you have all the right stuff, if you liked the hint of mangos, try Cruzan Mango rum. For a stronger taste ground frozen mangos in with the ice and the usual margarita recipe.,then add your splash of cran. Don't forget the lime wheels (a whole lime sliced into wheels with a slit down one half to place on the side of the glass).

Mango Margaritas





INGREDIENTS:
granulated sugar 2-1/2 cups drained sliced jarred mangoes in juice (about 1-1/4 26-ounce jars), 1/4 cup juice reserved 1-1/4 cups gold tequila
1 cup Grand Marnier or Cointreau 1 cup frozen limeade concentrate 7-1/2 cups ice cubes
10 lime slices













1 Place sugar on plate and 1/4 cup mango juice on another plate. Dip each of 10 Margarita glasses into juice, then sugar.
2 Puree half each of mangoes, tequila, Grand Marnier and limeade in blender until smooth. Add 3-3/4 cups ice cubes; blend. Pour mixture into pitcher. Repeat with remaining ingredients. Pour Margaritas into glasses. Granish with lime slices.
