it seems now countries only take poor immigrants from some thrid world country. for a person from america to move lets say to sweden, norway or some other europeon country seems almost impossible, even if knowing the language, but yet some no skilled person from somalia can just walk in there just fine, why is this?

It's not? My family moved without a problem. Are you talking about financially? Because many people from third world countries go in as refugees so they don't have to pay a lot of what people from politically stable countries that have allied with the country the person is moving to have to pay. And there's also the fact that many European countries have very dense populations so they're not as open to immigration as countries with more space. Most of them, to the best of my knowledge, only take skilled workers from other developed countries.

Americans belong to many countries some of these like Cuba are for the most part barred in most of the rest of American countries.

These American countries have different immigration policies, Argentina used to be very lax towards Europeans but now that is starting to change, Chile on the other hand still has a very relaxed policy of immigration for Europeans so it varies considerably depending on were in America the European wants to go.

Because most of these countries only, and reluctantly, take political refugees seeking asylum ... other than that, you will have to go through the usual immigration channels which vary from one European country to the other ... like Australia, you will find it difficult to qualify if you are not highly skilled, a certain age group, or qualified to do certain jobs that are in high demand ... in other words, they have a PROPER immigration policy ... they want to know who is entering their country, and what they can do FOR their new country ...

I'm from Norway, and off-course we let refugees into our country. You cant compare that to you moving here from US. I would say its just as hard for a Norwegian to move to US. Same rules, you have to have a job, or get married to a Norwegian/US citizen. You could easily go here on vacation or student visa. So I would say it's no difference what so ever.

because its a double standard, i'm trying to buy a house in greece and they say even if i pay for the property in full that i can still really only own 40 percent of it, what i think it is , is that they don't want thier country becoming a melting pot like our country is, and most of the europeans view us as wild cowboys
