My mom says I look better with bangs, but I don't like having them. She insists that I cut them, and even if I dont want to she does.

dye your hair and make a small trim for the bangs.

OK, I used to think the SAME thing. I would look funny without them. But actually letting your bangs grow out will make your forehead look longer believe it or not. I am sure you are just a little self conscious (like I was before!) and you will look just fine. Take the chance and if you don't like it after they grow out you can always cut them.

well let your hair grow and do not cut your bangs..maybe a longer bangs would make you look better..start cutting your bangs if it is a little bit long like when it touches your nose..just let your bangs at the side of your face so it would be a cool style..dont put them on the back of your ears

So what if u still have bangs, people look best in what they feel they look best in. If u dont like them then u can change it, but dont just change them cuz everyone else doesnt have them.
One of my favorite sayings goes" in a world of cherreios, be a fruit loop!"
P.S. this is advice coming from an almost 13 year old as well

If you feel happy with bangs, wear them. Look at Kirstie Aly (?sp) she has a low forehead and her hair looks fine combed back. Tiny braids and beads can draw attention away from your forehead. I would do just a strand or two on one side with the beads hitting around chin level. You can always loop them behind your ear at school and you can always take them out if it doesn't work. Don't sweat the small stuff!

You probably don't look bad w/out bangs. You just are not used to it. Find some cute clips and try to clip most of them back for a few days, maybe let some fall down. Then see if you are used to yourself w/out them. Go through fashion mags, maybe seventeen or teen people, and see if they have any cute hairstyles that are up and away from your face.

sweep them to the side a bit, or fluff them up, do something a bit dramatic with the rest of your hair - perhaps pin up a bit? Look for inspirations in magazines. (btw - I have bangs and a small forehead, and am now 53 - I just seem to look better with them!)

I am older, but I find that half bangs look better on me than full bangs all the way across the forehead. The bangs half way across will probably make you look more mature. Try it.

i am 21 and still have bangs. i also have the exact hair you have except my hair curls up at the end. i usually sweep them to the side if i have my hair down and put my hair up in bobby pins when i want to put it up or back. bangs are always gonna be in, you just have to know what way to style it
