Here are some examples:

don't want STDs, pregnancy? don't have premarital sex (it's possible, I'm a 24 yr old virgin waiting for marriage, and people say just use protection, birth control, etc....ok so why are STDs still rampant and abortion so "needed"? I'm sure nobody goes into having intercourse thinking, hey, I want an STD today!)

don't want hangovers, liver problems, or alcoholism? don't drink.

don't want lung cancer or numerous other health problems? don't smoke (or, for those who don't smoke, don't hang out with people who are smoking).

I'm sure there are lots of other examples.

So if you want to do that stuff, fine. But don't go around complaining when you experience negative consequences of these actions.

I will make two examples from the Sikh saints(Guru's)

1.The quest of pleasure brings nothing but torment abounding;Man thus makes of his evil desires only a shackle about the neck. You seeker of false delights, liberation comes only through the love of God. (Adi Granth)

2.Make good works your soil and the word of God your seed, ever irrigate it with the water of truth.Faith shall germinate and thus even a fool shall know the distinction between Heaven and Hell. (Guru Nanak)

And one more,

You cannot harvest what you do not sow.So plant your desires, gently nurture them ,and they will be rewarded with abundance.
"Vivian E Glyck"

You see man becomes a victim of his own choice, unless he follows the advise of the saints.

Society has made it that way. No one is responsible for their own actions anymore. Do what you want even though you have been warned but when something happens run to the goverment to solve your problem. Unfortunately that's the way our world is today

Sounds to me that you think you all ready have the answer. but to be truthful people do not always make the best judgment. people are human and make mistakes. then they have to live with it. it is the human nature to complain. That what your question was doing right. complain about people complaining?

My suggestion to you is to simply live in your closet, away from other human beings. That way you won't make any mistakes to which you may possibly be forced to complain about and you won't have to hear them from anyone else either. Good luck with that!
