I met a guy online a few months ago and only went out once because he always wanted me to come over to his place to watch tv and well I can do that at home. I want to go out places . He stopped writing me a while back and has emailed me again asking if I want to go out. I told him ok (his is basically a nice guy and is accomadating to my work schedule and stuff ) because I thought he had finally got the idea that I wanted to go out someplace so we set up a date . Now he is taking about coming to pick me up and going to his house to watch tv and snuggle. I am not a prude but really don't feel comfortable getting cozy with a guy I just met and really don't have any romantic feelings for (after all we only met once) I know he is probably anxious to get into a relationship because he is a guy and hasn't been in one for awhile. There are alot of good things about him but if he is going to be like this, how do I get it across to him that I dont' want to go to his place?

He is in good financial shape and everything and we had a nice first date but now he wants me to come over. He is looking for a committed relationship like I am but I think it's kinda weird to play old married couple around the tv on your second date.

You say, "(Insert his name here), it would be nice to see you again, but I'm really not a tv person. Would you like to (insert your favorite activity) instead?"

Tell him there is a movie out you badly want to see and you will meet him at the theater, drive yourself do NOT get in the car with him. If he complains then say I do not feel comfortable going to your house till after I get to know you better, if you'd like to get to know me better than we can go on a few dates and see how things go, if you are not interested in getting to know me then let me know now and I'll hit the movie alone.

Tell him he cant come over to your house because your tv is broken. Then insist he wine you and dine you before you go to bed with him. Yea, thats the ticket.

just tell him, straight out, compose your thoughts and email him, that way you can take your time, write it all down and make yourself clear, not to mention he can read it more than once in case he's a little slow on the uptake.

If you don't feel comfortable going to his house, tell him so. If he doesn't understand that, tell him to go away....
