We often times put our best foot forward when meeting people, and some may over do it, thus given us the perception this person is not who he/she truly is.

Dating sometimes is like a job interview, We always want to show our best qualities. We walk in nervous anxious wondering if we are qualified for whatever the position entails.

The first date is always the trail run......All the questions we have during the date ( the wondering "Does this person like me?"..... Does this person find me attractive?".....and so on and so forth and then with the added pressure to want to be liked and the want to please someone...

In my opinion its always best to try your best to be relaxed and be yourself and dont force any feeling that isnt natural.
Hopfully the first date is just the beginning of getting to know eachother.

I ask alot of questions, but on a fist date I think the really personal things such as do you have an STD or been tested can wait until you better know a person ... after all it's a first date ... not a sex interview ... unless of course that person is only looking to get laid then they should just pick someone up and get their ya yas off ... and hopefully they have half a brain to use protection regardless of their own status!

A first date should hopefully be as laid back as possible and not a 30 questions date. Talk about anything that comes freely and not scripted. To me a first date is more about observation rather than dissertation.

I think the most important question on the first date is Generally basic questions on how to get to the know the person? Like what do you do for a living, when is your birthday, do you like dog or cats, whats is your favorite color, things like. If you ask those type of questions then you and her will be talking to each other for hours.

if you have 1\2 a brain you will ask ..have you had an hiv and a std test?? if so get the name of the doctor or clinic. i am a male so take my advice. by the way this works both ways....note.. if you have sex with someone then you are having it with everyone they did, and everyone they did, and everyone they did, all the way back to the first time for each and every person.

You really want to get to know a person that you're dating so that you'll know whether or not you two are compatible, but on the first date I feel question should be limited to .........what's your first&last name......what profession are you in........marital status..... dating(how often)......goals in life.......are you close to their family.......do you smoke.......do you drink(how often).....drug usuage.....are you self sufficient(has own housing&vehicle).......Pet peeves& last but definitely not least....Are there any history of mental illness that runs in your family :) lol........If they are evasive on any of the above question, or get defensive.....run,don't walk to the nearest exit! Good luck.
