Chair bends, squats, walking steps, many many more... some others at the link below...

Also, just getting out and walking, hiking is very healthy. Also, gardening can be a workout (try pulling weeds every couple of weeks and you'll see).

Good Luck!

Start every day with a few simple exercises that can be done quickly, before you get in the shower. A simple 10 minute daily routine is better than a complicated and ambitious 30-60 minute routine that is easy to talk yourself out of on a bad day.

I start by stretching each leg quadriceps for 1 minute and doing 25 neck rotations in each direction. Then I do 100 squats, hands on the sink counter to aid in balance, 25 one legged calf raises on each leg, 150 modified push ups in 2 sets, first 100 then 50, hands on the rim of the tub, back straight.

I've done this in as little as 8 minutes and it never takes more than 10 minutes. It works. A year ago I could only do 25 of the push ups and squats. I feel better and look better and I've lost about 20 lbs.

I also walk on a treadmill about 3 times per week, usually 3 or 4 miles. Not too intense. I do it while watching TV. It hardly feels like exercise.

Remember, all things in moderation! Anybody can do this stuff, if they don't overdo it, get frustrated and give up. I'm 58 years old.

Ten minutes per day forever is a whole lot better than 1 hour per day for 3 weeks, followed by skipping a few days, followed by "Oh the hell with it!".

Pushups are good, you can build up to a huge number, just take it slow, add a few every day. You can also do modified crunches, put your legs on a couch, your back on the floor, and reach forward, not a full crunch or a full situp, which can hurt your back, but if you do enough they really tighten you up. Also lie on your back and do leg raisers, they tighten your lower abs. And if you can get in a long walk involving hills thats good for your cardio vascular. Good luck! Enjoy!

Going up and down stairs, lifting heavy cans of stuff in the cupboard up and down like weights. Isometrics doesn't involve equipment and can build muscle and increase calorie use.
