You may want to become a social drinker--but no one WANTS to become a heavy drinker. It can damage your liver (you only have one of those), and eventually may cause you to lose work, family, and everything else that is important to you. It can make you deficient in many vitamins and minerals essential to life.

You may want to drink a glass of wine with meals, and possibly one before bed. When at a party or wedding, you might want to try a Canadian Whiskey (on the rocks, or mixed with 7UP or gingerale. If outdoors camping, sports watching, etc., it's usually beer that people drink.

Make sure that you drink enough water, because alcohol, like caffeine, can dehydrate you.

If you mean a heavy drinker for the evening, start with a glass of wine, and work your way up.

If you mean a heavy drinker for the rest of your life, skip the pleasant stuff - go straight to gin on the rocks.

Start with a cheap bottle of any wine- drink the whole bottle - get sick and throw up all over your date and your car , lay on you bed with nasea and "bed spins "for the next 5 hours and then go to work looking like **** and feeling like ****. Now Decide if you want to be a heavy drinker. It sounds so fun!

Why would you want to ruin your health and even your life by becoming a 'heavy-drinker?' Alcohol ruins your liver making it difficult for your body to get rid of all the waste that it produces.

If you plan on becoming a heavy drinker and are speaking of alcohol you can start with any liquor. Booze such as whiskey, Scotch, etc are loaded with calories. So, drink up, get drunk and get fat. Sounds fun and attractive......
Stay with the occasional social drink, OK?

that's a funny question... are you entering college... thats when most people become heavy drinkers...
I'd say find a drink you like and stick with it... then work up your tolerance and drink, drink, drink...
A "Long Island Ice Tea" will usually do the trick...
