I'm a muslim, and its disturbing that Islam is badly misunderstood in Islam, you give me some quranic ayahs (real ones, not made up ones from bad sources) and i can justify them, and explain what they actually mean, because the true meaning isnt bad at all....its just the way you interpret them, as you may be able to interpret the meaning of a poem in many ways...

anyway just asnwer my question above ^

Islam, whether founded to help people or make an empire, it was turned into the later. It is used to justify bombings, wars, and was/is being used to bring followers of terrorists. I don't like religion, but am very mad at those rioters.

You aren't allowed to interpret in Islam. You may disagree with that. But you will be killed for it. That is the bottom line.

The problem here is you don't understand the nature of your own religion. People who commit acts of terror or who riot or who do other evil things are being good, devout muslims. They are doing what the religion very explicitly demands (and by demand, I mean DEMAND....at the point of the sword, literally)

What you need to do is to study the Quran, the Hadiths and the life of Muhammad. Ask yourself this simple question, Is this what I actually believe in? Does what Islam has been doing for its entire history, continuing without interuption to this day, match my value system? It probably doesn't. It's important for you to realize this.

Here is a much more serious problem with Islam:

Understand that no authority in Islam denies this, although they try to keep this info from those outside the muslim world.

What implications does this have for muslims? How can Muhammad be a true prophet if he spoke the satanic verses? True prophets are protected by God while only false prophets can be possessed by satan. Furthermore, Muhammad's behavior reflects a man possessed by incredible evil. His life is one great pattern of rape, robbery, murder, slavery and invasion of people who never did him any harm. That behavior has been the sole defining attribute of Islam for its entire history. You see it very clearly today. It's pretty obvious that Muhammad was possessed by satan and that the entire religion of Islam is based on that. Keep this fact in mind as you read the Quran. Much that didn't make sense, makes PERFECT sense when you do this.

this panacea guy really needs a slap n i wanna be the one 2 give it 2 him!! i mean what the fcuk - u idiot u could get sum knowledge before you open your mouth and attack someone else's religion! n try being subtle next time- not openly racist! i think the girl asking this question is ace for believing in her religion- u go girl. remember, panancea/poncia/whatever u call yourself...stack up on sunblock honey coz u'll need it wen the hellfire begins 2 burn!! LOLLLLL
and so neway i just wanted 2 say i totally agree with phoenixdranzer, coz being an arabic speaker myself-- of course the true meaning of the quran isn't bad!!- it's the word of Allah (swt) after all, unlike other "religious books" i could mention that have been written by random weirdos who claim to have known jesus (peace be upon him). people who misinterpret the quran and people who are prejudiced against any religion without the sufficient CORRECT knowledge shouldn't answer questions like this coz u know something mate? NO1 CARES WHAT C*R*A*P YOU'RE CHATTING and people will just think you're pathetic
o and btw yeah i hate religious riots, why cant evry1 just be tolerant? grrrrr
as for prophet mohammed (peace b upon him), he set an example for being the most racially tolerant and peaceful person ever- for gods sake if you've ever read the stories panacea (the TRUE ones, not the ones on that pathetic website you gave us), you'll find that he put even more emphasis on behaving well towards non-muslims, despite the fact that all they ever did was make his life difficult. try reading up something genuine.

No. I think religion is a wonderful gift and should be practiced by everyone. If done correctly all the problems in the world can be solved and we should be able to live peacefully, and most importantly, excitingly.

I'm sick of religion in general.

I think this world would be a lot calmer if people would focus more on caring for each other rather than imaginary gods.
