Well, 1st anniversary is paper, so wrap yourself up in a big red paper bow and nothing else...He will appreciate that more than anything!

We just had our first anniversary a few weeks ago. The tradition is paper so I wrote him a nice letter telling him how much I appreciate him. (I'm not really a mushy girl, but he loves it). And for a gift I got him a nice pair of sunglasses because I was tired of his $5 plastic ones that just looked horrible!! And we had a nice vacation together with our baby girl!

Give some thing in Gold like a gold pendent which he can wear in a gold chain coz he will keep it with him all his life. Chose a nice pendent of his liking and get your name carved on reverse, thats how you will always be near his heart when he wears it. I dont know what is tradition. I could think of this for you.

Paper is traditional. Get him tickets to a movie or a sporting event that you both would like to see.

No one cares about traditional anymore... Get him some kind of electronic toy for him to play with... Surround sound, big screen TV, XBox 360, etc. He will love you forever.

Paper is traditional and plastic is modern. I bought my husband Simpson's trivia cards, because he loves the Simpson's and he bought me concert tickets to one of my favorite bands!
