i was taught that the sex of a baby is actually determined from the man, the odds of having a girl they say tho are slightly higher. either way after 2 boys already why would she want a higher maintance baby, to buy all new cloths no hand me downs, the need for another room, the list is endless be happy with what they get is my answer.

Some people would say that her chances is cut in half each time she gives birth to a boy. If the first time giving birth she had a 50% chance of a girl then the second time would have been around 25%. that would mean that her chances this time would be 12.5% But I don't buy that. Let's keep it 50/50 this time around, too! Congrats to your family.

Actually I think the chances are pretty high that she'll have another boy since it's the guy that determines the sex of the baby and she's already had two boys. I dont think waiting any length of time between childern affects the chances of having one sex or the other.

None of that stuff actually has anything to do with it. The X or Y chromosome that determines gender is supplied by the male. Whether it is a boy or a girl is detemined by which sperm penetrates the ovum.

53/47....this being the statistical separation between female/male births...

The only way to get a girl is to keep trying...but not too much...there are way too many people on the world as it is.
