I guess you mean the current King of Thailand.
He is and has been a great king. He is kind with wonderful sense of humor and very well respected and loved by most Thais.
He has been working hard by doing boring things (to most people) by being present at numerous ceremony, graduation and etc. which mean a lot to his people. He also does more interesting (for him I think) by trying to help Thais especially the poor in the countryside. He is supposed to be only the figure head of the country, however, during political crisis and others, he is looked upon for guidance and actually solving the problems. His words and suggestions are wise and right on as far as I can tell. He will definitely be missed long and long after his throne ends.
Thais can't say enough about him and his great deeds.
