Why not, if they have a great personality. Any of us have the potentiol to become disabled at any time. We might be involved in an accident, or we might become diagnosed with some disease.
Also, you might not even know the person is disabled just by looking at the person. For example, I'm considered disabled, but no one would know just by looking at me. My disability is due to my intestines. Unless someone can look inside my abdoment, they would never know unless I choose to tell them.

Personaly speaking as a guy considered disabled due to a botched back operation I hopoe that people (ladies 21 to 35yrs old) would consider a date with me a 32 year old guy.
Personally I have no worries about dating a person wih a disability however there are limits as with all people and things. for the sake of both parties involved I would have to say that someone who is unable to say (for the sake of answering this question) lift themselves out of bed or get themselves mobile into a wheel chair (if they basicaly required me to be able to manhandle them to a chair etc); sadly i'd probly be happy to be friends with that person but dating or having a physical relationship may be difficult.
as i said i have a back problem and can only just cope with myself hence my reason for the sadly no to the above point. however if i was perfectly healthy and able to manhandle my partner around should she require it then absolutlely no problems as long as we were both in love.
I hope for my neighbours sake a girl will want a date with him. he has learning difficulties. he is still single at age 39 at the end of this month (july 2006).
as for me I have as stated my back problem which has resulted in me being depressed due to constant agony and as a result being unable to do anything in the way of finding a date.
so in short there is no reason not to date a disabled person.
and why do we use the term disabled? when the correct term is lessabled in my oppinion. afterall most people with a so called dissability have one or two faults ion the body this leaves the mind functioning for the main normaly. It's late, i'm tired and i hope i made my point OK.

Women probably say they go out with mentally disabled men all the time...lol But to be honest, I wouldn't have a problem dating a physically challenged person.

Define disabled? I saw this blind girl on the tube the other day. She was beautiful. I would've liked to have asked her out, but I'm recovering from a stroke so I didn't.
