It's genetic..and it will happen.. sometimes sooner than expected... I'm way older than you and so far..haven't got one yet..but.. that's totally because of my mom.. god bless her....

You're lucky.... being a girl.. just color it.. have fun.. switch it up... no one will ever know you're going grey early.

It seems to be quite common these days. You probably won't go grey by the time you're 30 though! I'm not sure why it's happening but I have heard stress can be a factor. My son is now 14 and he has more than 9 grey hairs which stand out badly because his hair is black! He has now started dying his hair which seems to be the only solution :-( There is an old wives tale that says for every one you pull out you get 3 grow in it's place but that's a load of old rubbish!

I had a small patch of grey hairs on my head from about that age. They grow from a spot which has less pigment than the rest, and I have pulled them out for almost 10 years now without loads more growing in their place as some people might suggest. The doctor says I have vitiligo, which is a skin condition which causes patches of skin to lose pigment. It may be worth checking whether this is the problem in your case. I have since developed a few other white patches on other parts of my body. Colourless hairs grow out of them. If you get these patches elsewhere you can buy special make-up to cover them if they bother you. Be aware that these patches can sunburn very badly because of having no pigment.

Grey hairs are examples of wisdom in the bible. They also mean stress but I have a friend who is only sixteen and has a full head of grey hair and has to get it dyed every two weeks. But mostly it should be stress calm down and relax.

Do not worry too much most young people can get grey hairs. even for some strange reason you do go grey early start using a colour wash.

itcould be exposure to the sun use heat proof spray or shampoo or maybe if youve dyed that has not succeed in areas
try soaking them up with a wet cloth each day or dye them
or it could be genetic as everone told you
i have a granma who's 71 and not a single grey

I don't know why it happens, but I started getting one or two grey hairs at 14, that's when I started dying my hair, it's nothing to worry about, I'm now 32 and my hair still isn't grey, I still just get the odd grey hair here and there. Nothing to worry about, just pluck them or dye them. :)

Don't worry,
It's not grey hair, it's that wonderfull silver tint you found at the new hairdresser you are using in (whatever town you want.)

Be positive and stand proud.
