yes. There are 3 blood alleles in the world - (A), (B) & (O)
Each blood group is made up of 2 alleles which will determine the blood type as follows:

Blood type A is made of either (A)(A) or (A)(O).
Blood type B is made of either (B)(B) or (B)(O).
Blood type O is made of only (O)(O).
Blood type AB is made of only (A)(B).

Depending on your parents blood genotype, you'll get a combination that determines your blood type.

Blood O IS POSSIBLE for parents having type A or type B type PROVIDED they are (A)(O) & (B)(O) blood type.

EG: parent (A)(O) X parent (B)(O)
==>child (A)(B), (A)(O), (B)(O), (O)(O) possiblities, each 25%

Yes it is possible but only if your mother and your father had one parent of O type blood.

I don't know if you have learned this in Biology class yet, but blood type is a matter of 2 alleles in your DNA, genes. The alleles A and B are dominant over O. Your mother would be 1 of 2 choices-AA (homozygous A) or AO (heterozygous A). This means that your mother is either totally blood A, meaning all her children would be blood type A or AB, or if she is AO, her children could be type A, AB, B, or O depending on the blood type of her husband. Your father could be BB or BO. The only way for the son to have type O blood (since type O is recessive, meaning it must be OO to have the O blood show up), is for the mother to be AO and the father to be BO. Even then, the chances of having a son with O blood is 25%. That is why type O is very rare.

No. Not unless you mom has AO+ or you dad has BO+. If they only have A+ or B+ then the only possibilities are A+, B+ or AB+.
