Rub gently with oil, corn, vegetable, canola all artwork properly, even peanut oil would be cool. do not WRAP IN FOIL. you're actually not baking doing that, you're steaming. The foil traps the escaping moisture, the warmth of the oven converts the moisture to steam. do not punch holes interior the potato, that releases moisture mandatory to maintain the potato, moist! attempt to %. potatoes that are fairly even in shape, without tapered ends or rather fat centers. Just like a potato......wrap it in foil.....you can use cinnamon or sugar as a seasoning if you like......as far as the baking time....that would really depend on how big it is.....just do it like a potato......maybe 30 to 45 minutes at around 350 to 375.......and check it after 30 mnutes.....unwrap it (be careful it'll be hot) and stick it with a fork....if it's soft then it's done. Best of luck to you

It depends on the size of the potatoe. I bake them in the
micro wave and it is much quicker. You need to wash it,
then take a fork or something and poke into it on both
sides. I ususally get a medium size potatoe, and I bake it
about 8 mns on highest temp. Stick a fork into it to see if
it's done. If not put it back for another mn. If you over cook
it, it will be all shriveled & dried up. So you may want to put
it in for less time than you think & try it a few times.
When it's done you can wrap it in foil for a few mns to soften
it more. Enjoy!

Wrap it in foil with peeling on and bake until you can stick it with a tooth pick to tell if it is done.

Serve with fresh butter (doesn't need to be seasoned)

Try the Louisianna Reds they are the best
