There aren't any herbs or special diets to "detoxify" your liver.
Your liver probably doesn't need any attention unless there is something specifically wrong with it.
Alcohol can cause liver damage. One glass of wine per day probably won't cause much damage, but more than that might.
Some people take pain relievers such as Tylenol on a regular basis. If you take Tylenol, make sure you follow the directions on the bottle and don't take more than the recommended dose. If you can take LESS than the recommended dose, that would be best. Don't take Tylenol every day if you can help it.
Ask your doctor about the best ways to lose weight. It really all comes down to diet and exercise. There are no safe, reliable shortcuts yet.

You can drink charcoal mixtures that are sold at health food stores, or drink things like Barley Green.
So far I've lost 27 lbs. just by changing my food habits. I have never been big on sweets or sodas, but I'm careful with everything now. Most of my diet is fruits and veggies now, with some meat thrown in. I've switched to organic milk and wheat bread. I drink alot of water and have V-8 juice on hand for when water gets boring. I try to eat carrots everyday with lunch and keep grapefruit on hand for munchie attacks. If you want to get serious about it, google "Negative calorie foods". There is a nice sized list of foods that can help you with weight loss. Your body uses so many calories to digest and process your food. Any food that gives you as many calories as it burns (or more!) is a wonderful weight loss food. Its driven my friend nuts that I've lost so much without excersice, but I love it. I don't want more muscle right now, I justy want to slim down. Just be careful as you detox. Your body is addicted to alot of the things you ingest daily, so you could feel a bit sick, get headaches, or have dizzy spells at first. Its your body's reaction to comming off all the extra junk put in processed food.
Just eat sensibly and you'll be fine. Lay off take-out food or going to restaurants. I go some still, but I'm careful about it because my body no longer tolerates the fats and extra chemicals as well.

Yes. For 3 days drink a gallon of apple juice a day, plus all thewater you can drink. Eat nothing but apples, as many as you want. On the night of the 3rd day, before going to bed, drink half a cup of olive oil with a lemon, either in it , squeezed, or suck on the slices between gulps. I think the lemon is just to help the oil go down, it's pretty gross. Go Immediately to bed. In the morning you will start having bowel movements. You will have them off and on all day, so plan carefully for that day (days off of work, etc.). If you are diabetic you can use mallic acid instead of apple juice.

Drink lots of water...it helps to flush the toxins out of your system & also helps you lose weight. I'm not a believer in those colon evacuators...you can always drink a bottle or two of citrate of magnesia if you're trying to clean your colon out rather than spending tons of money on one of these colon cleansers from a health food store.
