No. The US doesn't yet recognize gay marriage for the purpose of immigration. And there are no grounds for your lover to "sponsor" you either for immigration or for US citizenship.

No, gay marraige is not recognized for 'family reunification'. However, with the scrutiny over immigration laws, I am not sure 'family reunification' is going to remain an above quota exception, in any event.

Gay marriage is only legal in one state(MA) and not recognized in any other, as it is against public policy. Gay marriage will not help you get in the country. Only heterosexual unions will suffice for that.
