Now ask yourself a question. When the Networks charge Cable companies for using their broadcasts, do you really think they will let other show them over the Internet for free? NO!

Most of the stuff you get from those sites are clips of crappy foriegn broadcasts.

ABC did a test in May and June, allowing people to watch full episodes of their 4 top rated shows. They were free to watch. You did have to view three 30 second commercials during the programs. ABC has stopped showing them now but says they will be back in the fall with more to watch. These a shown the day after they air and play all week until the day the next show broadcasts. I went ahead and signed up with them. I will be notified when they start doing the service again.

For the last couple of years, I've only watched my TV for the Evening Local News and the weekly episode of Lost. I threw the TV in the trash last week.

All the local news I get from the Local Paper online. All the weather info is available on the NOAA web site, including the live radar images. All the sports I want to read is available through Yahoo Sports. And, I see Lost at ABC.com. All of my National and World news I get from the modules I have setup on the My Yahoo home page I use.

In the near future the Congress will allow the Telephone companies broadcast TV over the phone lines into your home.

Heck, I don't even use the radio anymore. All the Talk stations I like have Internet streaming and my music tastes are all available from the LaunchCast on Yahoo Messenger.

Yes, there is. They don't have many channels, but it's pretty good.
