The best thing is a little exercise and a little escape, but no loner than a half hour or 45 minutes. go for a little walk and look at the things you admire outside, maybe a bike ride, or a walk in the park. If time and area do not permit you to do these things, you might want to look at some photographs or paintings, or create them yourself, maybe even work on a model car or something. Basicly, you just want to look at something further away from your face than your school books to give your eyes a much needed rest from the hum-drum of reading and the rest of your body a wake-up with some exercise so you don't slip into a nap, and it's also good to eat some fruits- learning makes you hungry as well. When you return, talk to someone you care about, like your parents, brother/sister, a good friend about what you were reading when you took your break. This will help you to better memorize and define just what it is you are studying and help you to get back into the pace of reading those school books again.

Good luck, I hope this helps you, because our future depends on you.

Get a timer. Set it for 15 to 30 minutes. When the timer goes off, you get a 10 minute break.

This is very time consuming, but it works!
