It is not right, you are correct. We as Americans right now are using the Muslim as the bad guy all over the place, more than we should. BTW Christians and Jews do get their religion mentioned when they kill someone because of religion.

Ok answering questions in order:

Who said they can't grow their beards? I have never heard of anyone saying that. No, we think they are an extremist or a terrorist when they blow innocent people up, beat people half to death for things that are minor even under Muslim law, or kill people because of religious motivation. We call Christians who go too far and become violent like that extremists as well.

The nun makes a choice to wear that, she can take it off without being harmed or killed. A Muslim woman, in many Islamic run states, cannot or she will be arrested or beaten, possibly killed. That is being oppressed. Now if they CHOOSE to wear it, I and most Americans don't have a problem with it. Such is the case with Muslim women over in this country who wear a (modified) traditional type of garment. I have seen multiple Muslim women here wearing the head scarfs and loose fitting dresses. It does not bother me at all. Certain Christian sects also require a certain dress for women, although even then not as strict as the Muslim dress.

I mentioned it up above. Also, Christians and Jews have not said they are killing in the name of God(OK recently they haven't said it, not in the past), like most of the most visible Islamic terrorists have, which unfortunately seems to be the only face of Islam we Americans see sometimes.

The last question is that people make generalizations and we don't understand "those people"(I am not very fond of that particular phrase BTW). I don't believe Islam is to blame for the terrorists' actions, their own sick, twisted, little minds are. The same also happens for the most vocal of Christians and Jews. They also get their religion blamed when they make a mistake towards Muslims. It isn't right for us to do that, and it isn't right for Muslims to do it either.

It could have something to do with the concept of being bribed with heavenly sex for mass murder, or going into other countries and murdering any who won't follow them, like Somalia, Congo, etc.. When you force your religion on others, and kill them when they don't convert, it looks bad for the entire faith. Christians have to live with the blame for the crusades and the inquisition, yet none of us were alive then, so I guess its worse for the muslims right now, because they're alive while the horrors are going on and they do absolutely nothing to stop their own people who are committing these crimes against humanity. Perhaps you are in a wrong country. If you go to a muslim country, then nobody there is going to blame your religion for bad behavior.

But in non-muslim countries, perhaps you have to blame Osama bin Laden and his associates for your predicament.

Muslim extremists who kill innocent people regularly associate Islam with what they did. They either claim to be defending Islam or avenging some wrong done against other muslims. Their terrorist acts and their statements of responsibility are widely publicized in the media. And it's no wonder that many non-muslims believe that these terrorist acts are associated with Islamic faith.

That's what the terrorists say about themselves. And they seem to be sincere in their words. They are putting their lives on the line to accomplish their terrorist acts. And you can't be any more sincere than that.

It's the terrorists who associate Islamic religion with terrorism in their widely publicized statements of responsibility. And many people in non-Islamic countries believe them.

* The beard is not why people call Muslims terrorists; Its the cold blooded murder of people in the name of Allah or in the name of their religion. Its the PUBLIC celebrations of the majority of Muslims when people are killed in the name of their Allah or name of their religion.

* Its not the covering from head to toe that bothers people - besides - since you're Muslim you mostly notice Muslim women being joked about - BUT - I assure you Nuns get more than Muslim women as far as being made fun of. Ask a Nun.

* When Jews kill someone (except for a few murderers like every nation has) they do not do so in the name of God. As far as Christians - TRUE Christians don't kill people, except perhaps to protect a child or family. I have noticed like in Indonesia some Christians got fed up with Muslim extremists harassing them, killing them and decided to fight back, but only because the Muslims started it first - in the name of Allah. Not too many people will stand still and let someone murder them or family or destroy their business and property.

NOW - Listen carefully; THERE ARE PEACEFUL MUSLIMS! I am fully aware of this. BUT - when Muslim terrorists MURDER in the Name of Islam and in the Name of Allah - murdering their own Muslim brothers in Iraq and the United States gets accused of killing innocent Iraqis - naturally we don't take it so well. Like those 32 INNOCENT Iraqis killed my Muslim brethren - these deaths will be counted as the total that the United States Military killed.

SADLY - we have had *some* criminal Americans in our military ranks that decided to use their status to murder *A FEW* innocent Iraqis - and I AM ANGRY about it as are many other Americans. The difference is THESE MURDERERS ARE ARRESTED and NOT PRAISED! And they did not do these killings in the name of God or in the name of Christianity. Muslims kill and murder in the name of their religion. See the difference?

THE PEACEFUL MUSLIMS -are out numbered by the bad. If the Bad Muslims threatened to Kill your family if you did not help them - YOU would fight with them. So the Bad Muslims negate the Peaceful Muslims.

I am not saying all Muslims are bad. I know a few who have treated Non Muslims as if they were kings they were so good to them. These we have no problem with. You have to try to remember, that its the Bad Muslims that are showing the world THAT side of Islam.

If you want to world to see the Good Side of Islam - the GOOD MUSLIMS will have to stand up not in small pockets but stand up united across the world and condemn these murderers who are killing innocent Iraqis for religious and political reasons. Show the world you do not accept these murderers - and the world will understand. We wont convert to Islam - but you wont be treated as if you were evil.
