It turns off automatically yesterday. Since then, no matter what I try, I am not able to turn it on.

As a recently retired TV repairman, I would say that your chances of fixing it yourself are none. Call an expert, preferably one that's Panasonic certified. Hell, I had trouble fixing them and I've had years and years of training and experience. Please don't try it.

maybe a blown fuse inside the tv, is it plugged into a multi-outlet strip, that might have shut off? check the cord also, make sure it isnt damaged
