This is the Bible way and became my way at age 29 (Thank God!)
John 3:16-17 For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not His Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through Him might be saved.
Romans 3:10 As it is written, there is none righteous, no not one.
Romans 5:8 But God commendeth His love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinner's Christ died for us.
Romans 10:9-10 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
Romans 10:13 For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord, shall be saved.

We are all searching for God. Before we find Him, we have an empty place in our lives, and we try to fill it with anything. Could be money, relationships, children, anything. NOTHING CAN FILL THIS VOID BUT GOD THE FATHER AND HIS SON JESUS. All you have to do is ask God for forgiveness of your sins, and invite Jesus into your life to be the sole controller of your thoughts and actions. Too often we ask Jesus into our hearts, and then think that there is nothing else that we have to do. The bible says "not all that say Lord, Lord will enter into the gates of heaven, but those who do the will of the father. What that means is that we cannot just ask for forgiveness of our sins, we also have to truly be sorry that we have committed them. If you cheated on your spouse, and then asked for their forgiveness, it would seem as though you were not truly sorry if you cheated on them again. When the doubters brought the woman in front of Jesus and told him that they had caught her in the act of committing adultery, and that the law said that she should be stoned to death, Jesus replied "he who is without sin can cast the first stone". The people who caught her in this crime left one by one until the only people left were her and Jesus. He then asked her "woman, where are your acusers?" and she answered him by saying there are none. He then said "Go, and sin no more." He did not say, your sins are forgiven, go and committ more. He said go and sin no more. That is what he commands of us as well. You would not be able to believe the joy and peace that you get when you know that your sins have been forgiven you, and that you are trying, every minute of every day, to be more like Christ. The word Christian means Christ-like. We, as humans, cannot achieve perfection in this world. But the point of Christianity is to be as close as we can. The more we eliminate sin from our lives, the closer we are to God. What helped me was to think about the fact that every time I sin, I drive another nail into the cross of Jesus. He died for me and you, so that we can live forever in heaven when this life is over, which is more than I can say for anyone else I have ever met, so I do not want to hurt my saviour. I hope this helps. God Bless you, and I will be praying for you.

Well here are the ways that you can't find God, if you want to know God, than going to church and doing good deeds alone won't put you any closer to Him than you already are.
You see there is something that has severed men from God, it is called sin, otherwise known as anything that is wrong to do. With sin in our lives we can't get to God on our own. You see we can't all have our own version of God in our minds, otherwise the god that we would invision would not be God.
All of the good deeds in the world cannot erase our sins. God is like a judge. A judge wouldn't let a convicted fellon free without some form of punishment, right? If he did there would be no justice. All men have sined, me, you, everyone. Yet there was someone who took our punishment upon himself, so that we may live with God. His name is Jesus Christ, He died for everyone, so that anyone that would recieve Him may see God.
"That if you confess with your mouth, Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved."-Romans 10:9
Jesus said, "I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father(God), except through me."-John 14:6
God loved all men so much that He gave up His only Son, Jesus, to die.
You ask,"Why did God do that?"
Because God does not want anyone to be separated from Him for eternity, the definition of hell is separation from God forever, and that is what all men that do not recieve God's gift of mercy,Jesus, end up with. Jesus is the only way, for only He can take away your sins and save your soul.
You cannot get to God by your own means. How does having your own version of God and your own way to God make that the right way? Everyone is intitled to their own oppinion but not thier own facts.
All I can say is that Jesus saved me, for me it's not just another empty coldhearted religion, it's a one on one relationship with God.
If you accept Jesus as your Savior you are God's child and a member of the family of God.
Nothing else in life will fill the void that is in your heart but Jesus, not friends or money or alcohol not studies not success, none of these things will ever bring true happyness. None but Jesus.
He is the way to the Father.....
Will you recieve Jesus into your life?
God is waiting for your answer with open arms.
I am praying for you, but, it's your desission it's your call, your choice.
Forever with or with out God... It all depends if you accept Jesus or not.

Get a good bible, probably one in the New International Version so it is easy to understand. Pray and accept Jesus Christ as your savior. Read your bible, study the word. The Lord tells us seek and we shall find, knock and it will be opened. Contact me if you need more help.
