Well, you deserve something for your actions...but not to be assaulted, and yoou had no right to throw something at him.....personally, I would have grabbed you to stop you from being so violent, or left.......if I left, it would have been the last time you would ahve seen me, and that is the most likely thing I would ahve done......deserve? yes, be assaulted? No

cradle2resur get real. That was the most incorrect statment i have read in a while. If you hit someone you better expect to be hit back. I bet you think all they did was killed 5000 people when they hit the World Trade Centers with the planes. But if it had been women not men it would have been ok? We are talking Humans not Men / Women rights. Women should go to jail for beating a man just like a man for acting acressave toward a woman. HUMAN not MAN / WOMAN. Get it?
I agree with Kevin W above. His answer hit the spot in my eyes. I had an ex that would hit me with things and I put up with it. If he would put up with you hitting him with things you would keep on doing it. I think he should have slapped your face and walked out or just walked out and never came back. He should never have to put up with that.
But the fact he attacked you with more than what equaled a slap on the hand. You better run and run like the wind. This guy will beat you black and blue if you anger him later in life. He has had the taste of hitting you and you did not send him to jail so he will do it again.
Rule one is you never hit anyone and rule 2 is you never allow anyone to hit you.
If he needed to defend himself which I'm guessing was not required in this case he should have just left. But in the cast where he attacked you you then had the right to break a lamp over his head because he was in full attack mode. But after you stopped him get out of there don't stay around to finish him off.
I hope my point is clear. You get out of this now for your own safety and never hit some one unless you have to to save your life or limb.

Deserve it, no one deserves to be hit for an accident, completely removing the male on female aspect to this attack it was still an overwhelming response to a small affront, Yes you are fooling yourself and only yourself if you think that it is deserved, your boyfriend has anger issues and this will eventually lead to larger problems for both him and you if you stay in the relationship

No, you don't deserve it. Not only that, you are already showing signs of a woman who is an abuse victim. Get some space between you and your boyfriend now, especially if he is still angry. NO ONE deserves to have their body degraded and their saftey threatned--INDCLUDING HIM. He is a human being as well, and you don't have the right to throw things at him.
If your relationship is this turbulent, then you need to go your separate ways. Good luck, young lady. Show respect and demand it for yourself too.

go to the gym you fat slob and get rid of the extra inches around the waist, and stop walking around with that short tee-shirt with your belly hanging out. You disgust me.
Oops sorry answered the wrong question:
Well if by toy you mean an anvil, then yes, you deserved a beat down. If by toy you mean a paper airplane then no.

No guy has the right to lift his hand on a woman, even when she is is in the wrong. Period. You didn't deserve to be manhandled. Get out of that relationship, because more violence will follow.

I agree with crade...Sounds like your boyfriend has an anger management problem. Neither one of you were right but his response did not fit the crime. His fuse will only get shorter with time. Can the relationship and dont look back or blame yourself.

Sounds like you both need to grow up. You were wrong to throw something at him in anger. But nobody deserves to be assaulted.

No you did not deserve it. There is no excuse for a man to hit a woman. Get rid of him. He will surely hit you again when he gets angry.
