I have never dated anyone outside my race (Hispanic). While dating only men from Mexico, I found I was always cheated on, lied to, physically abused, and never appreciated. That is not to say all Mexican men are like that, I was just never fortunate enough to find one that wasn't.

Oct. 2005, I met a man who just seemed perfect. The only problem I was faced with was that he was Black. I didn't know how my father would take it. I didn't care about anyone else, but his thoughts. Well, the perfect man and I fell in love and I had to introduce him to my family. To my surprise, my father loved him. He said he didn't care about his race or the color of his skin. He knew what type of relationships I had in the past and just wanted me to find happiness and if I found it in this person, he wasn't going to keep me from it.

Long story short...the perfect man and I married June of this year (2006). Had I held to the belief that I was only supposed to date within my culture and race, I wouldn't have found the true love that was waiting for me.

Oh, and my father can't wait for us to have lots of children!!!

Yeh , I would marry outside my race! I dont really look at race! and No I wouldnt loose any of my friends or family members if I did!

Actually when I was a teenager I only liked white guys! ( im black)Now that im 24 yrs old , im learning to be open to all and not just white guys!

Why ? do u like someone who is of different race than u ? And ur scared to pursue it because u wonder what people think? or have u thought about it once?

If u like someone and the chemistry is there and they get ur mind and u get nervous ( a good nervous) then , GO FOR IT!!!! Dont look at race!

Yes I would marry outside my race and have children. No I would not be loosing friends and family. They will accept whom I choose as long as I am happy.

If he was the right person for me, yes, I would marry outside of my race. In this day and age, very few people that I know would not support me if I was happy.

i would if that man treated me with respect and honesty, my family has some mixed race in it already so no i wouldn't lose any family or friends i don't think. there are some who don't agree with it, but come on people. people are people and it doesn't matter what your skin color is or where you come from as long as we're all good people. there aren't many pure races left anymore anyway, especially the white race.

I have been in a interracial relationship. If I had stayed with him, and married him, my friends and family would approve. They don't judge someone by their skin color. Only one who would, would be my father, but he would adjust, once he realized the guy was a gentleman.

Race isn't an issue for me. I wouldn't lose my friends because none of them are that shallow and i'm sure my family would rather see me happy with the man i love, trusting my judgment.

Yes, I would marry someone of another race. If I loved them and I felt that they loved me.
I wouldn't care what color my babies came out as long as they are healthy.
My parents are very accepting if I marry someone of another race. My great grandfather, on my dad's side, was Scottish and my great grandmother on my mother's side was Greek.
