purchased zenith lcddlp 50" new in 2003. background colors (mostly blue) showing thru picture. need help!

we were told it is dust on mirrors. tv spent over 1 mo at repair shop and $700.00 later. tv looks same if not worse. wondering if anybody else out there has same problem?

I have limited experience on this type of CTV but on CRT CTVs it would only be ness to back off the blue screen preset control.
