i already called the police, and they treated it like it was no biggie. they said they would file a complaint. no cops ever showed up to our building, so i'm assuming they dont care. is calling the cops the only thing that can be done?

You can probably call your local police. I doubt that shooting geese is illegal, but shooting into your yard almost definitely is. Call up the police station and file a complaint report.

Yes, call the cops - or better yet, go down to the cop shop and report him there. They'll come to the house and not to YOUR door. He'll never know who reported him. Any nutcase who fires a gun so close to home must be stopped.

Report him, it's against the law to shoot a gun inside city limits. As much as the geese can be aproblem, that is not the solution.

Call the cops, give the address, tell them "There is gun fire in my backyard" or "There is a shooting in progress" and act terrified and hang up, you won't be telling any lies and I bet THAT will get some sort of police response. lol.

Try calling the Game Warden think that is his job. Especially if the guy doesn't have a license

If the police aren't interested, I'm sure the game wardens would be. Especially if they're democrats.

Report him. Discharging a fire arm near close residences is illegal.
If the land is environmentally protected by chance, he could also receive a poaching fine.
