Um.... you want to make your food as _good_ as "mall" food? Sorry, I couldn't resist....

Here's how I do it.

Cook chicken breast. You can do it in a pan with small amount of oil, or under open flame. Cook it almsot all the way though. You can marinade it in the teriyaki sauce, too but don't over-do it, as it will make the food too salty.

Keep in mind, most real Japanese cooking involves open flame. Almost all cooking stoves in Japan are gas.

Simply use pre-made, store bought teriyaki sauce. Keep basting on it, and you'll need to do, at least, several coats. Be careful, not to burn the sugar rich teriyaki sauce. This is not a BBQ....

Steamed brocolli will make a good side dish for this. Simply steam brocolli until it is barely tender. You would want CRUNCH.

If teriyaki you are familier with has a thick sauce on it, that's just teriyaki sauce mixed and heated with a thickener, such as corn-starch. You can do the same and pore it over the finished product.

Teriyaki sauce is nothing more than:

1) soy sauce
2) mirin - which is a swettened sake
3) sometimes citrus juice

You can cook it down a bit to get the consistancy you need. You can make your own if you don't want to buy one at the store.

first start out with you neighbors cat grill it late at night so no one will see you grilling at cat, then let cool. remove all the meat from the bones and place in a blender, ( throw the bones away at one of your friends job ) add seasoning and a few eggs to bind the cat meat place the mixtures into a mold cook at 350 for 37 minutes and some of terry's yaki sauce (if you can get fresh yaki it is so much better the yaki out of the can or bottle) make some rice and you are good to go
