It is a religion. Those that believe in it are close minded an ridicule their own if they search for answers not proscribed by their desired view.Although almost every find has been either mistaken or revised or an out right fraud they still want us to believe them."Don't look at all the mistakes, those were in the past,we have it right now." Does this really instill trust and confidence in you?

Evolution is the religion? I'm not sure which one you're speaking of... at first I thought Evolution, then your description reminded me a lot of how religion is.

Evolution is a Theory within science (actually, it's MANY theories... if you would stop to read up on it). Just because some people use it to try to deny the existance of God doesn't make it a Religion. And it seems to me that it isn't ALL who believe in a thing that are close minded... just the argumentative fanatics.

Particles to people evolution pervades our culture despite the fact that is a difficult theory to defend. Secular humanists cling to this theory and shove it down the throats of others in an effort to remove the need for God. Beliveing or not believing in the doctrine of evolution does not affect salvation, but spreading evolutionary dogma can be a stumbling block for those seeking to know God. In order to remove this stumbling block, many christians fight tooth and nail to have this theory removed or presented in an unbiased fashion.

Because a majority of religious texts include creation and subsequent events as an integral part of their content.

The assignment of authority/responsibility for creation is a normal (arguably digressive) part of religious discourse.

Because this is the kind of debate that religion put us through.
So God Created everything.
So a snake became human after zillions of year.
Why not the truth?
If the truth is known there will be no religion.

the biggest problem is that religion and evolution must go together or there wouldn't be either.
