I think it can do either. If someone is so strict in their religion that they have to follow specific rules or rituals with every part of their life then trying to associate outside of their religion becomes extremely tedious. I have a Jewish acquaintance that has to bring food with him and his family when he goes to visit friends. It isn't that bad on him as he is used to it, but his son has to deal with things like everyone else eating ice cream and he doesn't get any. Not fun for a 4 year old. But by bringing his on food and taking friends out to Kosher restaurants he does really well with managing social life and following restrictions. If you follow a religion that encourages learning about other cultures and beliefs it helps you in the global social network because you know better how to deal with other cultures. I think that any religion can do well as long as no one forces their beliefs down any ones throat and we learn to cope with the limitations of our beliefs.

All the faith is needed to live in this world, Having somthing to belive in regardless if it is God, or yourself. It is having something to encourage you to do better to be your best. When you are ill it is asking for releife and healing, it is the entire world praying for you with out you knowing thy are. Faith is the key to life.. beliving others love you so much even when you do not love yourself.
It is most of all this. The day you are born your mother makes prayers for you and so dose the family and friends, though the years many people pray diffrent things for you..
so all the prays are globla social network to make your life, The more people you tick off the more your life will be lived in hell, the more you rebeel and tell yourself you 'hate this and that person' the more you will be hated.. you will be drug addict, alcoholic, and smokers, you are hateful you disbaliving.. in your own self
people who are happy and bless others who share joy and prase with others will be in great jobs, they stay nice things about others and alway are happy people they do not let the world get them down. Why becouse they have faith, they belive they are a great assest to this world... ...

I think that depends on the individual. Some people live a "good" life with religion.

Religion itself is neutral,I think-in fact,it's part of our global society
although sometimes it can be a problem. Not so much religion
itself-modern religions all endorse positive things like peace and love-but the extremist followers who interpret their faith to mean
it's their duty to kill those who hold other beliefs. Most of us can
live peaceably regardless of our neighbor's faith.

Obviously belonging to any group alientates that group from others. It doesn't matter if it's religious.
