The specificity of month long monitoring verses that of one week of monitoring.

Holter monitoring and the amount of variances that are picked up between the one week period and the one month period.

Does the Holter monitoring actually pick up or recieve the suspected problem every time the problem occurs?

Reasoning: I had to use the monitoring for a month after my Aortic Valve Replacement, and was having rythem problems that I could feel, but was not caused by any one activity. I felt that they were not "picked up" or recieved on the monitor because by the time I pushed the record button, the rythem symptoms had stopped.

This might require a bit of research, if its possible with patient confidentiality.

Remember to be specific! Holter monitoring is a broad topic and a thesis requires a very narrow view:
some examples: what is the diagnostic benefit to cardiac patients? or does a 24 hr holter monitor help prevent cardiac events? or compare men and women or different age groups or pick a sample population with different cardiac symptoms-all utilise a holter monitor, which group is most likely to benefit?
