I keep seeing canvas prints of Madonna,Al pacino all in a colourful popart style yet they are not hand painted. Anyone know of a software programm that converts photo's into this style. all a website where I can print these off? Thanks

You can download Adobe Essentials trial version and it will do that kind of thing, or Corel Painter. Also, Paint Shop Pro will do that!

The filters in photoshop do that. The one I use to get the effect is"Color Halftone" (under FILTERS->PIXELATE->COLOR HALFTONE) and you will get a dialogue box with channel "values" - just play around that and see the magic!!!

PS:: Though this is very good - there are a bunch of third party fiters that you can use to this stuff too - here are some of the ones that I use

i agree...i've used Photoshop many times to do that....i also found a tutorial once from Photoshop Creative magazine that showed you how to turn photos into pop art....but it's not really converting the photos....there is actually some work involved if you use Photoshop

in photoshop yuo can invert your colors then play with color balance
