I think investing in a flat iron is definitely worth it. I really love my Chi flat Iron. You can buy it at a salon. You'll want to get one that has ceramic plates and a temperature dial. This way you can use the temperature that is right for your hair. If you can't afford a Chi, try looking at a beauty supply store like Sally's.

ny ceramic one even if they are more expansive but you hair wont be all burned up
