I'm cool with, that only means that's less bills I have to pay. It really doesn't bother me, but I've heard both sides. For me, it's been the woman who has the problem b/c she doesn't realize that she can't have it both ways, I can't be expected to pay for everything and maintain that traditional relationship/roles that men and women typically occupy. Our roles have changed and that adjustment needs to be acknowledged and addressed. But just as important it is for me to get past that ego thing, it's just as important for women to understand that their role in the relationship has changed as well. It comes down to expectations.

I'd feel threatened to be honeset, because the balance of power has shifted. I know this is the 21st century and that we are all modern men, but that is how I and most men would feel.

I would not be put off by someone who was earning more thanme. Unless they were constantly reminding me of this. Or were they always trying to pick up the cheque.
