i am unsure what to say when i go to the hairdresser to explain. if i want to grow my hair to the right length, i'm clueless to describing how i want it done. Are there terms /names/jargons for certain styles for longer hairs?

well my man has long hair , he likes to keep it long so he just has a small trim to keep split ends at bay , and has it thinned out now and again to stop it getting to bushy looking , you could also have it lightly layered and still keep the length
