It has a creamy texture from the cheese added and the mayonnaise which makes it sumptuous. Can be doubled easily.
1 can cream of celery soup
1 (6 ounce) can tuna
1 (15 ounce) can Veg-All or mixed vegetables
1/2 cup milk
1 cup cubed cheddar cheese
1/2 stalk celery, chopped finely
1 small onion, finely chopped (if you prefer use onion powder)
1/2 cup mayonnaise
1 (8 ounce) package egg noodles, cooked ( macaroni may be used)
prepare and mix all ingredients in large bowl and put into covered casserole dish to bake at 350 for 30-45 min or until bubbly.
May be topped with buttered bread crumbs if crusty top is desired.

Pinconning Cheese Tuna Casserole
SAUCE:
1 can Cheese soup
1/2 cup mayonnaise or sour cream
2/3 cup beer or milk
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1/2 cup finely chopped celery
1 small Vidalia onion, minced
1 tsp Beau Monde seasoning or Bon Appetite
1 tsp curry powder
1 (6 ounce) can chunk white tuna, drained and rinsed
1-1/2 cups cooked broccoli
1 (8 ounce) package egg noodles, cooked and rinsed
oil or butter
Top of 1 green onion, minced
1 cup crushed potato chips
In a saucepan, mix the sauce ingredients and warm over medium heat until well blended. Put 1/2 of the noodles in a buttered casserole dish and toss lightly with oil to keep from sticking. Pour 1/2 of the cheese mix over top and toss lightly. Layer on the tuna and broccoli, toss again. Add the rest of the noodles and soup, Stir until just coated.
Sprinkle with green onion and crushed potato chips. Dot with buter or drizzle lightly with oil. Bake, covered, at 350 for 30 mins, then uncovered for 15 mins or until bubbly and the topping is golden brown.

Baked Tuna & Noodles
Yield: 8 Servings
Ingredients
8 oz pkg dry medium-width noodles
1/4 c butter (4 tbsp)
1/4 c flour
2 c milk
2 pk (3-oz ea) cream cheese
7 oz can of tuna in oil (save oil
1 cn peas, drained (optional)
1 cn mushroom pieces, drained
1 (optional)
1 salt and pepper to taste
1 plain dry bread crumbs
Instructions
Cook noodles in salted water; drain. Melt butter in saucepan and
blend in flour. Add milk slowly, cooking and stirring constantly.
When sauce is thick and smooth, blend in cream cheese and oil from
the tuna. Then add cooked noodles, and lastly and tuna (and peas and
mushrooms). Season to taste; top with dried bread crumbs. Bake at 375
for 30 minutes.
