I know this seems like the best thing to do is find a random person but member that what you do now will or could affect the application process in the end. You can use someone in your family who is working, someone at you church (pastor, minister, priest, clergyman), or a friend (if employed). A random person might hurt you in the end. Also this random person will have to take financial responsibility if your spouse go on welfare and they will have to pay the government back. Try to find someone close to home, it will benefit you in the end. I hope I was helpful.

The joint sponsor must be someone that you and your wife actually know, and who will truly take financial responsility for you if necessary.
