My personal experience with this organization (leaving same) has allowed my only daughter (now 37 yrs) to 'reject' me - based on the application of the 'truth' that these self proclaimed 'saved' sinners have inculcated her mind and heart with. Because I chose to not continue to accept and proclaim their message as valid - I was pronounced 'disfellowshipped' from their association, and my daughter has not communicated with me since (23 years now).
This is not the god experience that I would choose to see expounded world wide - I find the followers of this 'truth' to be brainwashed and cult orientated. My god does not sanction rejection of ANY other human, based on human, fallible, judgmental, opinions.

Many that leave, not all, Jehovah's Witnesses are disfellowshipped for not wanting to follow Scriptural rules in the Bible. These are some of the reasons one would be removed. While you pitiful few sob & complain, this is what happened last year.

Last year 2005, we "brainwashed" as they like to say, 247,631, that became Jehovah's Witnesses and everyone of these had to change their minds pertaining to the false teachings that they had been taught, these were people that used their own Bible, King James, etc., 28,384 were from the United States.

Let's take a "poll" and get the opinions (of people) by asking specific questions.

1. Were any of you ever a Jehovah's Witness?

2. Did you just decide to leave without a reason?

3. Was there a reason?

4. Were you disfellowshipped?

5. If you were disfellowshipped, for what reason?
Here are some reasons one can be removed from
the Congregation, please choose one or more.

Some of the offenses that could merit disfellowshipping from the Christian congregation are fornication, adultery, homosexuality, greed, extortion, thievery, lying, drunkenness, reviling, spiritism, murder, idolatry, apostasy, and the causing of divisions in the congregation.

6. Or is it just because you hate what we believe?

7. Why do you think, the prisons are full of so-called Christians, why is it that so-called Christians are the ones that "burn, spit, step on the "flag" and show disrespect not only to the flag but to the country they live in?

8. Is it because of people that could care less about
God's rules that are layed out in the Bible, you
people have 3 things on your brain, Catholics,
Mormons, Jehovah's Witnesses.

9. Why don't you people wise up and start acting like a
Christian, isn't that what most of you claim to be?

Recently a clergyman in Brooklyn, New York, obtained a copy of the book The Truth That Leads to Eternal Life. He was so impressed with the chapter dealing with prayer that he used the book to teach members of his church this chapter in a special meeting. Later he was asked by one of them, “Are you teaching us out of those Jehovah’s witnesses’ books?”

He replied: “It is the truth, isn’t it? When you want Sunday-school literature, you buy it from several sources, don’t you? Well, Jehovah’s witnesses teach the truth. Furthermore, when you see Jehovah’s witnesses with the Watchtower magazine, you ought to take it, because they print the truth.”

One booklet I found extremely helpful and recommend that anyone who is even contemplating becoming a Jehovah's Witness read before joining is:

The Incredible Creed of The Jehovah's
Witnesses

It is available from TAN Publishers in Rockford, IL. for just a couple of dollars. It is well worth it at twice the price and everyone should read it regardless of their religious denomination.

(Proverbs 26:11) Just like a dog returning to its vomit, the stupid one is repeating his foolishness.

(2 Peter 2:21-22) For it would have been better for them not to have accurately known the path of righteousness than after knowing it accurately to turn away from the holy commandment delivered to them. The saying of the true proverb has happened to them: “The dog has returned to its own vomit, and the sow that was bathed to rolling in the mire.”

(1 Timothy 6:3-5) If any man teaches other doctrine and does not assent to healthful words, those of our Lord Jesus Christ, nor to the teaching that accords with godly devotion, he is puffed up with pride, not understanding anything, but being mentally diseased over questionings and debates about words. From these things spring envy, strife, abusive speeches, wicked suspicions, violent disputes about trifles on the part of men corrupted in mind and despoiled of the truth

The extremely large crowds of people who have left this cult are very brave..especially the one's that WERE in leadership...there is tom of information about the X-witnesses, video's books etc..they can only reach the ignorant and completely uniformed.

In my family there were 32 followers...we are now down to 3..God willing they leave too

Sounds like those who left studied up on how it got started and how many times they went to court for lies and such. Try reading history on Jehovah Witnesses..and don't use there material to do it with.

The question shouldn't be if you have left that sect, but, why were you ever a member. What kind of crazy thoughts were you thinking when you joined this cult? It would be better to cast your seed in the belly of a whore than to cast it upon this rediculous cult. If this question was aimed at someone who left this cult, good for you, you are that much closer to truth, light and salvation.

My mother who is now 70yrs old and her boyfriend who is 58yrs old have been together for 24yrs.

This man was a Jehova witness minister, He met my mother and then gave up his preast hood, his wife and kids, he walked away from his career, Plumming on the side, Minister only make so much money.lol

I can tell you this that He is now a grandfather, and he kids love him it did not affect the relationship it only made it stronger, As for his exwife who forced him to belive that it would destroy him it did not.

As for his beliefs, well from 20yrs old when i met him, I have learned a lot about myself and he has been my streanth my father i needed in my life, all the money a man makes dose not make a man and all the truth a man gives to his children is up and up no lies, he lets you make your decisions after he gives advice. as for Hollidays and red meat lets just say this, It is said that people do not see the truth in life, For what life is about it is not about suffering jesus did this for us we do not need to doit>

It is not about complusions and condemming people again love thy nabor, as for the TV conviencing us that christmas and easter, valintines, ext are money. I say stay with this beleif what i do with my family is experiene diffrent religions and ethinics around the world. So my kids grow to be never racest.

Show your kids a routeen, your heart and courage to fight against drugs and alco and smoking, to have faith in something in life even if it is there own well bing that will succeed someday.
this is what is inportant in life it is the greates gifts alive..

I never joined a JW church but I studied with them for awhile. I found their teachings were too far from my core beliefs.
