You can go from Home to Pro without reformatting, but not from Pro to Home.

Just curious though. Why on earth would you want to do that?? XP Pro is SO much better than Home! If you are on a network (office, school, etc.) XP Home won't work at all there.

You can but I would not recommend doing so. In case you stil want to go ahead, please remember that you will lose all data on your computer in doing so. If you are okay with that, you can format the drive and install xp home on it.
