Back 1n 1999, my family went camping up through the Pacific Northwest. After a week of this, we descended into Kent WA to a hotel (for a real shower) and ate out.
The desk help suggested a place called the Keg.
We went there (just as it opened for the night) and ordered up some fish and prime rib and chicken.
I don't know if camping for a week made us a touch hungrier than normal, but everything was perfect. The salads were so crisp, the drinks were cool and refreshing, the desserts were very, very chocolately.
There were no doggie bags as we even ate the designs off the plate. The waitress was amazed at to how clean we left the place.

Years ago I was working countless hours. One night I got home at 4am and the first thing I noticed was my front door window was covered with a sheet. All kinds of thoughts crossed my mind. When I entered by boyfriend greeted me. He told me he ran a bubble bath for me. After I finished relaxing in the tub I walked back down stairs. The lights were off and I was greeted by candlelit dinner.
First we began with wine and then salad. Soon I ate the most tender steak I had ever had. When I reached for a roll my boyfriend told me he had sliced them I just needed to butter one. I opened the roll and inside was an engagement ring. This took place 17 years ago and I can still close me eyes and relive the entire night!

My family loves home made chicken and noodles, a little time consuming but good. Make your noodles by taking 6 eggs mix in flour until stiff enough to roll out dough, break off small amount and roll out thin sprinkle a little four between each ( it will look like pie crust) then take two to three and roll them together, cut either real thin or a little thicker spread out to dry, boil 3 chicken breast (skinless) until done, add noodles slowly and stir until all noodle are in pot cook 1/2 hour you can serve over mashed potatoes or plain.

After I spent six months away from home training from the Army, I came home and my mom cooked me her tuna noodle casserole. I think i ate the whole thing by myself!

Indian-style shrimp in brown sauce, as seen in Madhur Jaffrey's first cookbook. Incredible, an explosion of layered spices. It always wows my guests.
