There really is no way to let go of someone you love. If they died, you should try to move on. Remember them but don't beat yourself up over it. If they left you, find someone else you like and make that into a strong relationship. Eventually you will forget the person who let you go.

For some people it depends on whether the loved one died or moved on and out of their life.

I think the healing for each is pretty much the same though. You are never completely gone from them because they will never be removed from our minds or our hearts.

If it is someone who died, you have to ask yourself if your so selfish would you rather have them here suffering or have them be free. The choice is usually real simple because we do love them enormously and want the best for them.

If it's someone alive who has just moved on without you, again you will always have your memories. However you do have to face the fact that if they didn't want you as much as you wanted them, then it just wasn't meant to be and that means...there is someone better out there for you. You learned a lesson from all this to prepare you for the 'one'. I truly believe that.

In either case, it is very difficult and I feel for you. Been there myself both ways.

I think the best way is to allow yourself a certain amount of time (1 week) to really grieve over the lose as if the person died. You cry, endlessly talk about it, reminisce, look at old pictures, etc. Then when the time is up you wipe your eyes, take a deep breath and start you life again. You can't start living again until you've buried the past.

You don't. If you love that 'someone' a lot, you don't want to hurt that person by letting go.

If they want to go, just let it happen.
If you have to let go because of your own unhappiness, do it quickly.

Moving on is harder than letting go. Be sure you know your reasons for doing it and WRITE THEM DOWN! Then file them away. Feelings change and people end up going back into bad situations. Get out the paper if you feel yourself sliding back and remind yourself of what you are feeling now..and why.

Thats a deep question. Well honestly you never really "let go" of the person you will always have memories of that person. I just "let go" of someone basically we dated for a year and it was so hard just to do things without thiking of them. But for myself i got myself out there ive done things and yes, sometimes I do think of him and miss him. But i always just remeber the good times and that those memories will be close to my heart. So, to answering your question, its not easy to let go of someone exspecially from the begining.

After several days, I usually untie the ropes and remove the gag.

But then they end up screaming alot and calling the police on me (for no reason), and I get put away for a few months, until the pills start taking effect.

So, I guess I really don't know. If you figure it out, let me know.

Seriously, youv'e got to learn to laugh. Every time you laugh, it gets a tiny bit easier.

Some people dont exactly let go but they actually get on with their lives and the sooner the better as generally if you wait too long you will miss the next best thing
