Someone who will unconditionally love you..

A good friend doesn't pull punches and tells you the truth whether that truth is good or bad. A good friend feels bad when you're feeling bad and cries with you when you cry. They are always willing to help you or work through things with you. When times are really rotten and tough...they are the ones still there with you. In each person's life they normally only have a couple of these truly good friends.

A friend is someone who's always there for you through thick and thin, someone you can always rely on. Cheers you up when your feeling down, a good shoulder to cry on, Someone you can share your aches and pains with but you can still have a damn good laugh with them and be yourself, someone who doesn't act around you and is truly themselves when they're around you.

You love them from the bottom of your heart and trust them completely and they trust you. In a friendship you realise that time doesnt matter, you could know someone for 5 years and not be close to them, however, you could know someone for 1 and a bit years and know them inside out.

You know without them all the tears, laughter wouldnt exist.

When you begin to miss that friend that's when you realise that they were a true friend to begin with...

A good friend will love you for who you are, and love you unconditionally. One who listens and tries to understand you, even though might not agree with you on every point. One who gives you time, and is there for you during times of happiness and trouble.

I can. She is the "keeper of my secrets" and I am hers. You have to be able to discuss anything, no limitations! Sorry, actually, you are right! Good friend is much broader. I'm describing "best friend!"

Friends are far and few, a friend is someone who cares for you and put you before them.
A friend is someone you can trust with your life,
A friend is someone you know will not let you down in your hour of need.
A friend is who won't tell your secret.
A friend is someone who will help you.
A Friend is someone who will not question you when you ask them for something.
A friend will die for you.
A friend will never lie to you.
A friend will give you the last pound in their pocket.

A good friend is a kindred spirit that you find you can trust with most anything, and you know they will always tell you the truth as they know it to be.

I think one important feature of a good friend is to really listen when you want to talk, and then to give an honest opinion if you ask for it.

"We are sometimes made aware of a kindness long passed, and realize that there have been times when our friends' thoughts of us were of so pure and lofty a character that they passed over us like the winds of heaven unnoticed; when they treated us not as what we were, but as what we aspired to be."

Henry David Thoreau

Rarely critical, supportive, always has time for you, can generally raise your spirits in time of need, great to be with ..... but most important ... wants to know you because of you and NOT what you can do for them or help them financially or otherwise. Also essentially non-judgemental and unconditional friendship offered.
