what makes u think u'll survive,but do start growing ur own food.

It would be very difficult, because the population is so concentrated in towns and cities and the food chain has been concentrated onto supermarkets.
In the past, economic breakdown, for instance in times of hyperinflation, has been addressed by deployment of troops until things got reorganised. One reason it is so worrying that the UK has become overcommitted militarily abroad is that the army would have great difficulty in acting as the last resort to maintain law and order within the UK, including if war strained civil society.

If theres a war, with modern high speed computers making the decisions faster than a human can think or react you'll be vapourized by 'friendly' fire before you have a chance to say "I say, does anyone hear a sort of whizzing noi..."
So I wouldn't worry about it, everyone in cities will panic, so go live in a cave up a mountain and learn to knit your own bread.

In the past war was one of the things that came out of economic collapse was war. In war most young men would be drafted into the Arrmy so difficult to survive as most will be killed in battle. Those that do not get called-up would be in jobs that helped sustain the war effort. To survice you would need to be very lucky and quick enough to get out scrapes - that goes for life generally.

It has already happened,and the UK is doing what its ally the US who is also in the throngs of economic breakdown are doing.They are in a war for oil and profit.
