Because they are insane. Jesus asks that we love each other. To do any thing else is insanity.

I do not know why.Maybe it is because a whole nation declared war on a man that wrote a book to expose Islam for the fallacy it is.Maybe because the fanatics are protected by there own.You cannot tell me that 9-11 took place and someone somewhere did not know of it.Thank God(not allah) that New York was virtually gridlocked on that morning. Many more people could have died if that did not happen. Why do you not study Islam in depth and see where it leads you.Find out the full name of allah.Ask 32nd grade free mason or a catholic bishop or the highest ranking Islamic preacher you can find. They are all interconnected and worships the same god who is not God.I have a friend that became a Islamic priest(i forget what they are called).Nice guy but he himself admits that he does not believe what he preaches. And after i showed him the proof that i got hold of he is even more weary of doing his duty of misleading the masses.

What I wonder is how many people actually love islam? Islam is a warlord religion that has been enforced all throughout time with force. In most of your islamic nations, if you go home to your family and say you do not believe in islam anymore, you will be killed. Is that truely a belief system?

Unless current islamic clerics edit the koran to take out such things as rewards in heaven for murdering and dying for the cause, this will always be a religion of war and force

That is a loaded question.

There are MANY forms of Islam. There is Shiite, Suni, and Wahabi sects in the middle east, and perhaps more; then there is the form of Islam that is led by Louis Farrakahn.

I do not hate islam, Most of the people who practise Islam are good people. The problem is there are about 20-30% of Moslems who have never gotten over the break-up of the Ottoman Empire, and they believe it is their duty to to reclaim the lands held by the Ottoman empire.

that is pretty much what is going on.

Most intelligent people do not hate ALL of Islam. There are explanations (not excuses) for why some people have a problem with it though.

The Christian belief system believes that Jesus, the Christ is the only way to God. Therefore, any belief system that doesn't follow that guideline is not acceptable.

Others, who are not educated in the ways of Islam, have taken the actions of the Islamic radicals and have stereotyped all of Islam as radical terrorists.

In all of life, where there is hate, there is ignorance. Debbie

I think you are sort of using the same rational that your question discusses. Most people don't hate Islam. In the United States, most people don't care whether you follow Islam, Buddha, Christ, or whatever. But just like in your question, basically a few bad apples spoil it for the whole bunch. While a handful of guys running around in the desert plotting how to blow &%^* up gives Islam a bad name, a handful of rednecks running around in the backwoods of the United States plotting how to ethnically cleanse the world gives Americans a bad name.

Whether it is good or bad, the simple truth about hatred in the United States (and I imagine many other western cultures) is that the majority of people are too apathetic to hate. Too wrapped up in our own lives and our own problems to spend our time stereotyping an entire religion.

I hav given alot of thought on this before. It is D muslim leaders in this world that make D other religion people hate Islam. Actually, it is this leader that link 2 Islam. We hav some very cruel Muslim like : Saddam, Suharto & some others who would wrestle D country's wealth 2 themself. I think they want 2 bring D money 2 their grave 2 buy back their life or 2 pay as fines in hell so they do not hav 2 suffer so much of torture. Even Osama Ladin hated his country king 4...... Allah knows best. Not forgetting President Ferdinand Marcos who stole hundreds million of dollars & meanwhile leaving its citizen poor & looking 4 jobs overseas. But somehow nobody hates Christain. 1st a muslim leader must be fair 2 its citizen by finding out what ar their basic needs & provide it 2 D affordable level of D country wealth . Most of D king ar only interest in ####ing, some having hundreds of them. They do not know what is happening 2 its citizen. D same goes 2 some President & Prime Minister. 4 a good example of very well administered country by a king is BRUNEI, and by politician is SINGAPORE. Check it up man!

You are correct. I do not believe that the majority of Islamic followers are murderous terrorists. It is a small minority of them who endanger the peaceful majority.

When the attrocities of 9-11 occured, there were people of Arabic decent dancing in the streets of New Jersey. They were filmed and the footage aired on national television. As a result, several innocent Muslams were attacked and threated because of the sick minority who substitute the word RELIGION for HATRED.

My opinion:

We (the western world) have been looking for a scapegoat and the Islamic world has been chosen. I try to be an accepting, openminded person. Our leaders and the leaders of other nations have directed our attentions to that single group. We should not be picking fights. We should not be liars. We should not be two-faced. We should all be honest. We should all get along and not rock the boat. If someone is minding their own business, let them be. If they are doing something inappropriate or causing trouble...they need to be disciplined. Whomever it is.

I don't hate Islam, and I'm people. I live five miles from the National Islamic Center and they all seem like sweeties to me! But then, I'm Quaker and I believe that the Light of God is in every person.
