When someone sends me email, in other than html, all I receive is a blank message. I have to click "reply to" and change the format to HTML to be able to read it. Is there something I can do to have it arrive in readable format? Thanks.

The problem is on the sender's end. I'll bet lunch that their mail is running on and older version of Pegasus' Mercury Mail Transport System. This is a known issue with that system.

There's a slight chance that you don't have a font defined for plain text mail. To check this, go into Tools...Options and click on the Mail Format tab. Click the Fonts button. Make sure that all three boxes have a font defined. Click the appropriate Choose Font button if any of them are undefined and select a font.

I believe in any version of outlook you can change your settings for which way you want your e-mails to look and format when they enter you box.
