They both Muslims and they both share the bad characteristics of Islam…But…some Muslims are better than other Muslims…the more secular Muslim the less extremis.
The number of Sunnis in the world is much larger than Shia. Shia is minority in all Islamic countries but they are majority in only three countries, Iran, Iraq and Lebanon.
I guess the Lebanon Hezbollah is less extremist than Hamas and other Palestinians groups who aim to attack civilians among their enemies…The Iraqi Shia government and Shia people are friendlier to the Americans than the Sunnis. Some might be linked to Iran but more Sunnis are linked to al-Qaeda!!!
I guess at the current time Shia are better…but they all Muslims and ….

Christian.
If I had to choose.....Sunni I guess they have been a bit more tolerant of others than Shiites in the past. Right now....too close to call.

i follow Sunni beliefs, but frankly, i don't believe in all these sects. i believe Islam is just one ummah or group. we shouldn't divide ourselves. so usually if anybody asks me, i would say none, but i do believe in Sunni beliefs. get me?
