As an INTJ living in a sexist culture are you really trying to make sense of what these mortals do? But it is a good question. Everyone suffers in any society that is racist, sexist or ageist, which pretty much includes most of the planet.

Society accepts women in skirts in the work place or formal environment, both are places to show your respect of what society/culture/fashion dictates, while men wearing shorts are very casual and for leisure time not a formal affair. Ive never seen a tux with shorts for a male.It has nothing to do with "wanting"to see a woman's legs. And by the way ALOT of men have skinny legs that are not attractive so its not a gender problem having legs that you think should remain covered.

Aren't there formal suits with short pants - I thought I saw something like that in Barbados. If you can't find any for sale, why don't you have some of your summer suits altered. I don't think the short should be too short, perhaps an inch above the knee. You could start a new fashion trend in the states. As long as you are wearing nice shoes - and there are formal looking mens sandles.

Think about it!!!! I'ts more natural for a woman to be in a skirt..Men have very hairy legs and shorts do not belong in a place of business. A kilt is a form of dress belonging to certain nationalities. For you to wear a kilt is ridiculous unless you belong to that nationality. Next thing we know, you'll be complaining about women wearing pants.

Because modern society is sexist, and only women can show their legs. The Ancient Greeks and Romans went the other way, Women wore trousers, and only men wore short skirts. A woman showing her legs was scandalous.
If only our society would grow up.

Well skirts and dresses are traditional 'dress' clothing. Women are not allowed to wear shorts in a 'formal' environment either.
YOu probably could make a sexual harassment case and attempt to wear a dress or skirt yourself if it bothers you so much. But really---how many guys want to wear skirts?

So enable's see. i in my opinion do placed on skirts and clothing. i love the femininity that i'm getting from wearing them. fortuitously i actually have reliable legs for wearing them. highly when I save them hairless. i am going to placed on them at homestead, or out or perhaps to Renaissance Faires. i'm not gay and what i placed on has not some thing to do with my sexual selection. If society may open it really is collective ideas and do not ignore that such stupid labels and obstacles are merely a waste of anybody's time. be at liberty with who you're and placed on what you want to placed on. ok

Because there are formal or professional skirts--knee length or longer. There are no formal shorts for men.
